    Pros

    I was able to be promoted to Assistant Manager after working for 7 years and the new owner realized my potential to handle all aspects of the Microtel Inn .

    Cons

    No laundry person, One washer One dryer, No stability, company rules change every day, not enough team players.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Learn to work with your employees not against them. We know that its your company there is no need to bring it up every time you get upset.

    Pros

    They always have shifts needing covered. But honestly found no pros!

    Cons

    I worked there for 2 weeks and the franchise owner Varun did not file my pay because he lost my W4. So I had sent him one via email, text PDF format, and physically brought one in. A month later still no pay or answer from the Umbrella company Wyhnndam. Don't expect much help from their cooperate either!

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Make sure your franchise owners file paperwork correctly so labor commission doesn't have to investigate, and at least follow up with your current and former employees before it escalates to that. You guys need to pay your employees fairly or at least have a HR to report situations like this too.

    Willing to work sched. Good CEO. Clean place to work. Understanding people in higher management. Child friendly. Great customer service experience.

    Cons

    pay for employees under management positions such as housekeeping, or front desk was low pay. Housekeeping came and went due to bad pay which is bad for business as clean rooms is the selling point.

    up the pay and the money saved on not having to train people over and over again as it would help retain the current employees.

    Pros

    meet alot of friendly people and was a great place to work at and a great staff to work with

    only downside was not having health insurance which i think every employer shoud have or think of getting for there full time employees

    Pros

    Brand new hotel and it is a franchise with standards. The work environment is good and everyone who works directly for the hotel is wonderful.

    Cons

    The downside is the low pay, lack of benefits, very skinny staff, misrepresentation by owner. A lot of internal dysfunction and lack of communication.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    You get what you pay for! Just above minimum wage and other payroll arrangements are not satisfactory. Not enough staff to effectively run hotel in a professional manner. Lack of hours and money causes employees to not care about their job - therefore, they don't do a good job.
