    Pros

Pay is nice, depending on your level of education. Co-workers are very friendly and seem to enjoy what they do.

    Cons

Limited opportunity for advancement. Competition for classes amongst adjunct faulty can be high, especially during the summer term when the number of classes offered decreases.

    Advice to Management

None, some of the best management I have ever encountered.

    Pros

I've been given the opportunity to try new things. I've been given the opportunity to take chances and implement new processes. I can see the impact of my job on the day to day operations of the college. That means a lot to me.

    Cons

It's state government. Things move slower and more deliberately than the private industry. Therefore, you've got to have patience - something I'm having to learn each day.

  3. Nice place to work with friendly co-workers and purposeful mission.Very pleasant but hard working and dedicated people

    Pros

People, family atmosphere, challenge & they care about you. Talented hires make a great team of committed workforce and fine leadership that is in touch with what is going on. There is no greater mission than education especially in these challenging times

    Cons

Big college so have to stay up on changes. Large business with several campuses make communication a challenge

    Advice to Management

Keep doing what you're doing. Good people are key and staying up on current trends for good planning purposes. Keep the lines of communication open to be able to address any concerns or needs in the various areas.

    Pros

Pay was good. Location was great.

    Cons

If this were a business and not a state funded technical college, it would have gone under a long time ago. Very inefficient business processes. Management is horrendous.

    Advice to Management

Pay attention to students complaints. Then use this as initiative to make positive changes via technology. I tried to do this, and was severely beaten down.
