    I worked at Mikimoto America

    Pros

    The people at Mikimoto are great! They treat you like family. You form a bond that grows with time. Management is very attentive to your needs and flexible when you require time off.

    Cons

    Compared to other companies in the job market, their salary base is pretty low. Try negotiating before accepting the job since their increases every year are minimal.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    They need to offer a more competitive package. The market is starting to pick up and most job offers come with a much higher salary base.

    I worked at Mikimoto America full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

    Selling some of the most beautiful and well made jewlery in the world.
    Incredible design team makes some of the most innovative and beautiful designs that can be
    worn by women of any age. The designs are timeless and contemporary at the same time.

    Cons

    Mikimoto is not a bottom line driven company. Mikimoto does not value Mgrs. that deliver numbers and exceed sales plan year after year. Mikimoto also does not value Mgrs. that put together exceptional teams or lead by example. Mikimoto does not value Mgrs. that put together innovative marketing events and participate in community outreach programs.

    You need to value Mgrs. that have a proven track record of exceeding sales plan year after
    year and putting together exceptional Sales Professional teams. You also need to recognize those
    Mgrs. that effectively create innovate marketing plans and put the company in a positive light through
    effective community outreach programs.
