    Pros

Many wonderful people to work with. For the most part everyone works together as a team to help each other take better care of the patients.

    Cons

Moral over the years has continued to decline. Dead wood in administration/management.

    Advice to Management

Take better care of the reason the hospital has grown, the EMPLOYEES.

    Pros

Began working there in 2008 and was happy for the first 5 years. Because of the new ER and associated cost overruns management cuts the average worker including nurses salaries to raise their own pay & bonuses. Was transferred to IS as cost cutting move and management is rude, name calling, calling worker's stupid, and the like. There is nothing positive to working there and they never made the Boston Globe's best place to work because moral is really bad.

    Cons

When management can harass their own class of exempt manager employees out of a ICU managers position, management is ruling the place like a communist party.

    Advice to Management

Won't be long till a union comes in and tries to improve work conditions.

    Pros

Work life balance for the most part is reasonable

    Cons

Very few raises if any, you can go several years without.. Make sure you negotiate a good salary when you interview, you may not see any increase for quite some time, They just want you to be grateful for having a job. Management will not hesitate to weed you out of a job if you are the least bit out spoken in regards to Ethics. Even if you are extremely good at the job, been there several years and everyone gets along great with you.

    Advice to Management

Rethink how you handle your employees. Nepotism can be inexcusable, especially when it jeopardizes others and puts everyone in their path at risk in a Professional Medical Facility.

    Pros

Great nurse manager to work with. Co-workers were great. Most of the physicians were good to work with. One of the better community hospitals around.

    Cons

No raises for a few years and management could be clueless at times. Benefits were not great and not a lot of opportunity for additional hours for those working part time.

    Pros

Ever work at a hospital where every one is so happy and nice your first day that you wonder what's in their coffee? Incredible group of employees. I was treated so well and taught so much. Lots of innovation and new construction. Community thinks very highly of the hospital. Little extras that were nice were some good employee events like barbeques where all shifts had a chance to participate, outstanding cafeteria, and free parking.

    Cons

Only complaint was they didn't hire interns in my field.

    Advice to Management

Hire your interns! It's a bit silly to train them all year and then let them go elsewhere, then hire from the outside to fill your open positions. Otherwise, I thought management was accessible and very supportive. Great place to intern.

    Pros

working with professional people gives you a very good feeling about yourself . being able to meet new people and help them. Milford regional is a very nice hospital . people are very friendly and always willing to help you .

    Cons

I wish that I could of stayed there but they were not hiring and it was a little far for me to travel .they were having problems with gossip in that department.

    Advice to Management

should consider hiring interns right out of school .

    Pros

They have the most state of the art instruments and diagnostic tools.

    Cons

They need to focus on how they got to where they are, it's not all about the $. It's about the patients.

    Advice to Management

Get back to basics and start trying to work with your employees not against them.

    Pros

People care about each other and treat each very well. Top management from CEO, President down are compassionate & caring and treat employees with respect. I love my job (Recruiting) because I get to meet people from all professions. Benefits are great and competitive and there is free parking! Our nursing staff gives the best care ever. Dana Farber and Brigham & Women's is across the street. We have a new Sport Rehab Center - people there are awesome.

    Cons

I don't really have anything negative to say. I love this hospital and am proud to be a part of the hospital system. I respect our management and patient care is the best around.

    Advice to Management

I would say to any manager - listen to your employees. They do the job everyday and will always have some inut to help make things better if needed
