    Pros

It was great to work alongside most of your fellow co-workers. There was a lot of oppotunity to learn from co-workers.

    Cons

As Company has grown, they have understandably had to become more corporate. They brought in "experts" from Big Pharma and the Hospital industries. By doing this, the company has proven that they (the owners and the C's *CEO, COO etc.) are all about making money and NOT in it for the patients or MH employees. I also was brought out of the fog I was in believing that healing/taking care of their patients is what motivated doctors to do what they do. The almighty dollar IS THE GREAT MOTIVATOR!

    Advice to Management

Favoritism can't be blanketed over, it is still very evident. And, take a closer look at your knights at the round table (directors and VPs), one bad apple can/has ruined the whole bunch.

    Pros

-Being able to work on your own without being micromanaged. -Millennium Labs heavily invests in providing extensive training and education to its sales reps. -The ability to get in contact with the experienced reps in the high producing territories, to learn about what worked for them and what didn't, and also schedule ride alongs with them to get a firsthand experience of how they work their territories. In fact, management encourages doing that. -Managers (even ones in different territories) are always open to coach and share their experiences with reps. If needed, they'll schedule a one on one ride along with a rep going through a slump and/or in need of additional training. -Extensive support staff that assists in handling any situations that gets thrown at the sales reps. -Work smart and hard=big commission checks.

    Cons

-Having a territory with great potential is key. -State laws could either work to your advantage or could have the opposite effect. -No work-life balance. -Baseline commission system is awful and at times unfair. -Not all sales reps have the same commission structure even when working in the same city as other reps. -In many instances, the sales rep would have a baseline of 0, but his customer support rep (s) would have a baseline of 1000 (for example).

    Advice to Management

Rework the baseline and commission structures, at least for a sales rep and his support rep (s) within the same territory. It would make things more balanced and more team-oriented, that way a sales rep and his support rep (s) feel like they're working together as a team towards the same goal.

    Pros

Great opportunity to be employed while making a difference in the lives of others. There are some incredibly wonderful people in this organization.

    Cons

Some nepotism, and jealousy between departments due to different standards for different departments. Slow to promote and give salary increases. There are hidden gems in every department.

    Advice to Management

Create more opportunities for people from different departments to get together and resolve issues or make improvements.

    Pros

    Great company culture. Amazing product/service

    Cons

Managed markets team is not up to par. Management is starting to put the responsibility of obtaining contracts in sales rep and tying our commissions to how they get paid from insurance.

    Advice to Management

You can only put so much on your sales force before we no longer enjoy our jobs because we no longer get to "sell"

    Pros

The benefits are 100% covered which is nice. But that is about the only thing they have to offer.

    Cons

No matter your qualifications, be ready to have you ideas pushed aside. They don't trust their employees to actually perform without being micromanaged and controlled the whole way. Typical situation - "Got a great idea? Awesome! But hey, your Manager doesn't agree with the vision your being paid to create, so step aside and just do it our way, cause we said so." No thanks. I think this is why they seem to hire fresh college grads who are easily pushed around and don't know any better.

    Advice to Management

They have so many Executives trying to run the show in different ways, they need to trim the fat.

Great coworkers, fun to work with, good benefits, major growth, not too much turnover, a lot of free food for birthdays or other events

    Cons

sometimes management is out of touch and they don't really know what is happening in certain departments. power trips from some supervisors.

    Advice to Management
