    Pros

Great history and brand equities. Benefits are nice, salary is marginally competitive.

    Cons

Competing cultures from the two companies was too much to manage. Amazing to see the "bull in a china shop" management styles often be rewarded with a promotion. So many talented and respected employees either left or forced out.

I have been working at MillerCoors full-time

    Pros

Great industry to be part of, opportunity to work anywhere in the country. Average pay scale for position with many entry level and 3+ years experience roles.

    Cons

Management is overly focused on finance and metrics. Very little opportunity to advance and a culture that lacks any true teamwork. Expectation that work is your life.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

A positive culture that values individuals and builds teams will ultimately drive positive results. Fix the culture to fix the business.

    Pros

    Beer allowance
    Big marketing budgets
    Some great people
    Bar in HQ
    Travel a lot

    Cons

Leadership is lacking - particularly at the top levels
Category is contracting - lack of meaningful plans to change trajectory
Company is terrified of distributor network, advertising and programming gets watered down as a result
Old, white men making all decisions
Too focused on ABI - meanwhile spirits and wine are kicking our butts

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Focus on consumer rather than distributor network and business may change
Consider how ratings of employees impact morale

    Soulless, backstabbing employees

I worked at MillerCoors full-time (more than a year)

    Pros

Fun industry and great brands (but not market leaders).

    Cons

A few years ago they hired over 20+ catmans and then fired half of them after a year or two because we we're matching management expectations. Employees will throw you down the well to save their skins.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Listen to your employees and not all the noise from others. Have faith in them and their abilities. Don't let me go immediately. Need to cultivate talent and "slash and burn".

I have been working at MillerCoors full-time (more than 5 years)

    Pros

Lots of motivated, exciting, smart talent. Huge increase in talent since moving to Chicago office. Been with company 5+ years. Some amazing brands to work on with really interesting challenges to dig into and explore. Fun culture most of the time.

    Cons

Very political. Sales run organization. Lot of good, strategic thinking can be ignored if a vocal sales person in the field has a different opinion. A decision is never actually made at this company. Changing and flip flopping decisions at every level is an every day commonplace and results in enormous churn and burn across the people actually doing the work. This has been a core part of the culture since I started and affects all departments - Finance, Supply Chain, Marketing, Marketing Services.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

SLT and MLT have got to realize what it's actually like to be a Director and down at MillerCoors. The amount of work and logical thinking thrown out the window based on the whim of a field person calling a VP or above has a devastating affect on moral and is the main reason we lose so much top talent.

I have been working at MillerCoors full-time (more than 10 years)

    Pros

You get free beer, wages are good.

    Cons

The place is very dysfunctional , they send you to classes involving world class manufacturing and tell you they want the low level employees to be empowered, yet they hire low level supervisors who want to micro manage all the employees below them. They hire supervisors that have no clue on this type of production work, they lie about the real reason for downtime, and just want to produce product without concerns about quality or safety.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

If you want to succeed at world class manufacturing then stop hiring management in Irwindale that want to micro manage people that work below them, and want product to be run no matter what the quality of the product is, or what the safety condition are.

    Pros

The good people are great. Environment can be fun at times.

    Cons

No loyalty to employees. Claim to have ethics and values, but don't represent them. Bullying others from certain staff is acceptable. Diversity and inclusion are just buzz words and not adhered to or followed. No recognition for certain positions when you go above and beyond.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Just because you play the politic game well does not mean that you can bully other employes. Follow your own ethics code.

    Pros

Projects do not linger... their PM's aggressively move projects forward

    Cons

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    work on retention
