I have been working at Milwaukee Brewers (More than a year)

    Pros

The season and group sales staff is amazing. I know this sounds like a fake review but I really mean it. They hire only the best people there and everyone is team oriented which is rare in sales.

    Cons

People like the organization so much that it can be hard to move up the ladder since no one leaves. You must be willing to relocate to gain some experience and hope a position opens up down the road.

    Advice to Management

Keep doing what you are doing. Staff is great even with a few goofy personalities in there.

I worked at Milwaukee Brewers full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Free brewers tickets, a laid back environment. Deadlines are set and but be realistic. Great business hours and holidays. There is room for growth and training.

    Cons

Might be too laid back for some. Environment is more like, "If it isn't broke, don't fix it". May not be suitable for fast movers.

I worked at Milwaukee Brewers part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

If you love baseball and sports, there are some amazing opportunities and experiences. The schedule is pretty flexible since there are multiple interns.

    Cons

Hard to get hours. Can be boring at times. You don't gain a lot of true marketing experience. It is basically a glorified "Brew Crew" job.

    Advice to Management

Give interns more projects to work on. Maybe let interns come up with real proposals and presentations and evaluate the quality of those proposals.

I worked at Milwaukee Brewers full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Lots of fun perks. Great health insurance. Many opportunities to do behind the scenes events. Training is very thorough and is ongoing.

    Cons

Under compensated and not a lot of room for advancement. Since the players and baseball side of things are more directly in the line, many other individuals are unappreciated.

    Advice to Management

Appreciate the front office team more.

I worked at Milwaukee Brewers full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

If you'd like dealing with customers and making them happy you will love it.

    Cons

it feel likes your on big brother, micro managed, non mandatory meetings, that turn out to be mandatory, almost like a cult setting, ridiculous mid week nigh time meetings, meetings meetings meetings!!, feels like your in a 4 year college gaining a degree in cold heartedness , no fun, no family setting, no this , no that.

    Advice to Management

If nothing aint broken no need to fix it. Get a soul if you if still have one , stop making employees look over their shoulder everyday. No one needs that, and cut out the mind games, and brainwash bully tactics.

    Pros

The staff is very nice and there are many rewards, and you get to work at the most beautiful place in the city.

    Cons

You work during games so you do end up missing half of them, but you're in the door for free after that.
