I have been working at Milwaukee Brewers

    Pros

The group and season sales office is full of awesome people that enjoy what they do. To finish top 10 in attendance in such a small market is all due to the great minds they have in the sales department.

    Cons

Sales can be a grind and it is not for everyone. It is however a great way to get your foot in the door and prove that you are willing to work hard.

    Corporate Marketing Intern

I worked at Milwaukee Brewers part-time (less than an year)

    Pros

If you love baseball and sports, there are some amazing opportunities and experiences. The schedule is pretty flexible since there are multiple interns.

    Cons

Hard to get hours. Can be boring at times. You don't gain a lot of true marketing experience. It is basically a glorified "Brew Crew" job.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Give interns more projects to work on. Maybe let interns come up with real proposals and presentations and evaluate the quality of those proposals.

I worked at Milwaukee Brewers full-time (more than 5 years)

    Pros

Lots of fun perks. Great health insurance. Many opportunities to do behind the scenes events. Training is very thorough and is ongoing.

    Cons

Under compensated and not a lot of room for advancement. Since the players and baseball side of things are more directly in the line, many other individuals are unappreciated.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Appreciate the front office team more.

I worked at Milwaukee Brewers full-time (more than 10 years)

    Pros

If you'd like dealing with customers and making them happy you will love it.

    Cons

it feel likes your on big brother, micro managed, non mandatory meetings, that turn out to be mandatory, almost like a cult setting, ridiculous mid week nigh time meetings, meetings meetings meetings!!, feels like your in a 4 year college gaining a degree in cold heartedness , no fun, no family setting, no this , no that.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

If nothing aint broken no need to fix it. Get a soul if you if still have one , stop making employees look over their shoulder everyday. No one needs that, and cut out the mind games, and brainwash bully tactics.

I worked at Milwaukee Brewers as a contractor (more than an year)

    Pros

Many opportunities to work on community projects on behalf of the organization, culturally diverse, good benefits. Great place to work if you enjoy attending professional sporting events too.

    Cons

No access to public transportation for employees who don't have a car. You can carpool though.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Continue to increase diversity recruitment efforts to expand market share in Milwaukee's urban communities with more community outreach initiatives.
