    Pros

Great tips, union pay and benefits. Learned a lot.

    Cons

Upper management didn't seem to be working together; more focused on other projects.

    Advice to Management

Focus on the here and now and not so much on a project for next year.

I have been working at Mina Group full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

If you want to learn how a horrible company works, then Mina Group is the place to start!

    Cons

It is unbelievable the attitude you get in this workplace. - Lack of knowledge from management, no training and high turnover. - Management loves yelling, bullying and worst of all…..they think that they know how to run a business. - Pay is way below average. - Office smells! The office is located next to a trash/recycle area! That should tell a lot about this company.

    Advice to Management

Hahaha....Nothing! Why would you give them an advice?

    Pros

Great opportunity to learn and to make great money. Solid training regiment and great core of employees. The dining discount for 2 at all restaurants is a pretty good perk.

    Cons

nt many cons to working here other than the work life balance is something that is non existent. If you can handle the stress of a demanding work environment the opportunity to make great money is there.

I worked at Mina Group full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Only thing i could think of is no cost medical.

    Cons

Read before you apply; Huge turnover rate i ever have in a company due to big pressure and low pay No holiday and vacation pay unless you are on salary Salary employee pretty much work more than 8 hours every day. they knew how to play the game! Manager at the restaurants put out more than 50 hours per week. No promotion or recognition whatsoever unless you are their favor . Management team doesnt care the rest of the employee and you never know what happen inside the company. Very racist company while barely seeing a black employee there. Employee handbook is useless because they do not honor what is in there. Last advise, only apply if you want a leadership position, because the rest to position are just not important to them and they do not care your feeling .

    Advice to Management

Care more about your employees and bring up your pay and benefit.

I worked at Mina Group full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Discount at Mina Group restaurants. Fully paid benefits for corporate staff. OK place to gain some experience if you are a student or just beginning your career.

    Cons

No annual reviews or raises. Extremely low employee morale. Holidays are not paid. Below-market salaries. Lack of communication from management. Corporate leadership lacks basic managerial skills. Lack of forward-looking leadership. Very reactive management. Always waits until something is an emergency before any action is taken. Absolutely no recognition or appreciation of employees. Little to no opportunity for advancement. Very high turnover.

    Advice to Management

Recognize employees for their hard work. Implement a performance review system. Evaluate the effectiveness of management level staff. Create a positive work culture.

I worked at Mina Group full-time

    Pros

    9-5 schedule.

    Cons

Oppressive workplace, horrible attitudes, toxic and abusive work environment. Antiquated technologies and processes. Low pay, no employee recognition. Terrible training. A lot of internal politics in the office, yelling, bullying, playing favorites. Manage by crisis. Loves the scapegoat. Loves finding the right person to throw under the bus. Management style is to create an atmosphere of tension, fear, and intimidation. They do not care about their employees. Do not take position unless desperate.

    Advice to Management

Management 101: Treat employees better, don't yell and scream, pay employees at ALL levels what they deserve.
