I worked at Minacs full-time (more than an year)

    Pros

Enjoyed working at Minacs for an year. Awesome working environment. Training period was really good and learnt a lot which helped my future career.

    Cons

had worst experience working in night shift because couldn't maintain work-like balance but still enjoyed my work because of co-workers and managers.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

There are few employees who are not serious about the work and will disturb others who are working seriously. I strictly advice to throw such employees out of the company so that the work environment will remain even more good.

I have been working at Minacs as a contractor (more than an year)

    Pros

    Salary is always on time

    Cons

    1. Growth opportunity is close to nil when you are deputed in client location.
    2. Work life balance is the worst comparing all the companies I have worked till now because you literally have to beg for leaves and comp offs. And if you are lucky or pet to the Clients Leads then you might get lucky with it.
    3. Overall, I won't recommend Minacs to anyone unless someone is dying without a job.

I worked at Minacs full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

Good Opportunities to learn the apple technology... Thanks to apple for having a strong learning web base.

    Cons

Middle management is too bad. Works like a domestic company where you need to OBEY the orders of your manager.

You should accept "BOSS IS ALWAYS RIGHT" attitude. Absolutely a nonsensical decision if you have a strong back.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Be transparent and behave professional.

Former Employee - Technical Customer Service Rrepresentative in Bangalore (India)
Former Employee - Technical Customer Service Rrepresentative in Bangalore (India)

I worked at Minacs full-time (less than an year)

    Pros

    compensation is decent
    they provide split offs.
entirely day shift and / or rotational at the same time.
    good transport facility
provision of Provident Fund as part of compensation.
lots of opportunities to work on different processes that suits your qualification.
    good brand image

    Cons

there is huge disconnect between what is expected by Quality team and what is being trained. the Operations Managers dont even interact with the new joinees periodically and understand their needs. the Quality team only likes to fail the new joinees in mock calls and expect the joinees to know what is not thought. the Quality team is biased and only want to show their superiority and boss over the new joinees.

they dont look at what good things the new employee bring to the organization.

those who make through mock calls also quit because of lack of hands on training and different expectation from different Quality & Operations managers.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

please take good care of your employees and address their needs. Understand their skills and help them identify hidden talents. further reduce the disconnect and discontent between the various teams and the new employees and those currently working on the process floor.
