I have been working at Ministry of Education

    Pros

Especially in education, you are able to see growth not only in children that you are in charge of, there are also lots of opportunities for personal growth. A job which is very fulfilling.

    Cons

The only con that you might face is that you will not have flexibility in taking leave from work. Even when you need an urgent leave, it is still subject to approval.

    Pros

    Cons

Administration was lacking of resources that were needed to do do a successful job. Nonetheless, if improvising was done the job was done

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

I have been working at Ministry of Education full-time (more than 5 years)

    Pros

Working environment depends on the school you enter. But lucky for me, good working environment makes a painful job enjoyable. Salary is rather in line with market salary in other industries. Bonuses can be substantial if performance is recognised.

    Cons

Long working hours. Politics somehow present as in every government organisation. Ranking system sometimes points people in a direction that diverts from the initial calling of joining the industry.
