Pros – The compensation is great and rewarding work. The hours are pretty standard and stable.
Cons – The speed of which tasks are approved with the technology team seem to take longer than most organizations in order to approve legal processes.

Pros – Job security; excellent benefits (except vacation time); quality training options; easy commute; separate sick pay; resources for employees if needed
Cons – job depends on legislature; government shutdown affects job; union; pay is low compared to private sector; low vacation time for new hires
Advice to Senior Management – Leaders need to be more fiscally responsible; need to consider quality of workforce and compensation to attract skilled workforce, especially in light of upcoming retirement boom in department.
