MRC is a great place to gain valuable and transferable skills.

ProsAssisting individuals with barriers to employment with stepping towards self sufficiency. Developing relationships with businesses and employers. Gain skills that will benefit you later in your career, especially if you are entry level.

ConsThe pay is low and the atmosphere is tense at times. This organization has laid a number of people off in the last few months, and continues to struggle financially.

Advice to Senior ManagementProvide your employees with better tools to contribute to more successes. Have a database of contacts so that your department does not have to start from scratch each time an employee leaves the company.

ProsIt was a hard job that paid you well for the work that they required of you. The staff was almost like a second family.

ConsThe work was extreme and never ending. A raise would have been helpful in order to make for happier staff.
