Low salary, not too much opportunity for growth and development

    Customer Service Technician (Former Employee)
    Gatwick, England (UK)

    ProsGreat work / life balance
    Good Technology
    Friendly people

ConsDifficult to increase your salary once you are hired on. This is recognized by superiors and yet nothing is done to correct this.
People are not allowed to check their mobile phones (not even writing texts) unless they're on the lunch break.
If you want to use the restroom, you must ask for permission and they will take note of how long you were away from your desk.
It is very difficult to be promoted, even if you are their best performer.

Advice to Senior ManagementMaintain focus on keeping the excellent work environment, but learn how to better hold people accountable.

Yes, I would recommend this company to a friend – I'm optimistic about the outlook for this company

ProsAs a native English speaker there is nothing positive about working for this company in Taiwan. It's a typical Taiwanese engineering company, not good to work.

ConsThere is no plan for new products and senior management are just grasping in the dark, launching any products they think will make money without any real plan.

Advice to Senior ManagementThe upper management are Taiwanese and won't take advice because they know best

No, I would not recommend this company to a friend – I'm not optimistic about the outlook for this company
