Not a real professional firm. Always comes up short for its clients.

Project Manager (Former Employee) New York, NY

ProsNone that I can think of.

ConsAlmost every aspect of the company is misleading.

Satisfactory place to work, but not the place to build a career

Anonymous Employee (Former Employee) New York, NY

ProsKnowledgeable colleagues. Develop network with top banking clients. Decent pay.

ConsToo segmented. Lack of growth opps. KPIs create unproductive internal competition, which negatively affects the culture.

Advice to Senior ManagementTrust your managers, give them the resources they need to succeed, and let them lead.

    Dead Environment

Functional Consultant (Former Employee) New York, NY

ProsFlexibility in work schedules and work life balance

ConsEverything else...Lack of investment in employees and job security after the M&A. You will not be able to have a career path within the organization. No raise in salary. Promotion is out of the picture. People are let go on a daily basis because they are not generating enough margin. Pretty much a dead end to your career.

Advice to Senior ManagementThere is more to look at than the margin of each employee...

    Senior Interaction Designer

Senior Interaction Designer (Former Employee) New York, NY

ProsMy team worked across various financial and healthcare applications from small to large enterprise solutions. Working across healthcare and financial was a unique view into the core similarities of enterprise solutions.

ConsI found it difficult to be aware of various projects being considered, explored, or delivered across the companies wide portfolio. In addition, not enough early prototypes, or minimum viable products, were shared with our customers to ensure we were building the right solution.

Advice to Senior ManagementConsider adding transparency to what each project team is working on, and enable sharing of project solutions, proposals, as well as customer persona information, such as pain points. Consider include more agile and lean development processes to enable teams to get customer feedback early and often, before, during and after the development.

If you want to work there, be prepared to get outsourced at anytime

Business Analyst (Former Employee) White Plains, NY

ProsAs long as you put in your hours, you can pretty much work anytime you want. Managers there are very laid back.

ConsIt is very hard to move up in rank there...rarely is someone ever promoted. No perks whatsoever...not even milk for your coffee

Advice to Senior ManagementYou should appreciate your employees a lot more than you do and you laid off some good ones but kept the bad ones because you have no clue who works for you.

Director (Current Employee) New York, NY

ProsVery focused on the bottom line

ConsSeems that cutting costs is the no 1 concern

Advice to Senior ManagementAll these cuts are going to wreck the business

Too much cost cutting and offshoring

Anonymous Employee (Former Employee) New York, NY

ProsColleagues were very supportive. Some senior management were good at communicating business strategy and goals. Friendly environment. Employees excellent at working together despite where in the world they were located.

ConsOffshored jobs to employees who were not fully trained to do the job; way too much emphasis on offshoring. Too much cost cutting; outdated equipment and scant resources as a result.

Advice to Senior ManagementStop thinking so much about the stock price and focus on retaining talent and product quality. Srtop cutting costs and go back to growing the company.

Excellent Risk products but a company that only cares about the price of the stock at the expense of the employees.

Senior Software Engineer (Current Employee) New York, NY

    Pros- Flexible work hours
    - Good benefits
    - Even though mgmt does have an open policy, there are still some great and smart individuals in the compay
    - Possibility to travel to Bangalore :)

ConsAll of the technical jobs are being transferred off shore. The company does not care anymore if you have business specific knowledge or not. They think it is cheaper to have 5 less skilled Banalore workers for 1 knowledgeable US employee because there are "more" people to get the throughput they are looking for. They are just concerned with increasing the stock price because Mike Lawrie will get a big fat profit from it. Mgmt keeps telling us that the "people are the most important asset" - yeah right!

Advice to Senior ManagementSince the sale of Allscripts, the company has no debt, yet they continue to make cuts and reduce staff. The transfer of work to off-shore is not working like Senior Mgmt thinks. The level of knowledge off-shore is pathetic. And the increase in errors and the lowering of customer satisfaction is because of the off-shoring and the amount of mistakes and misunderstanding they have.

No, I would not recommend this company to a friend
