    Cons

    Pros

The people make up this company, they are truly amazing and the reason so many stay.
Pay was good, there is little to complain about there, but I was on the sales side.
Sales goals were reasonable to get to.
Products are amazing, and the technology is easy to understand, there are constant updates.

    Cons

There is a plenty of training, but a lack of career path, or hope of getting promoted, unless you threaten to leave.
So many changes that you are constantly worried about getting laid off or let go.
Overall there is not a sense that your contribution as an employee is meaningful, your asked to do lots, coached and ridden hard, but there's no end game.
Urgency to constantly hold onto legacy products, and so many hoops to jump through to get upgraded makes everything a hassle when doing business.
It's ridiculous that there are not more people leveraging the technology, to accomplish goals, and that everyone is expected to travel all the time to attend 1 or 2 meetings.
Management is willing to look the other way when it comes to questionable activity and conduct, women are hesitant to report harassment out of fear of it effecting their careers. HR group has the biggest gossips of anyone in the company.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Promote the people you've spent years investing in, instead of leaving them discouraged and wanting to leave, provide people with annual reviews and raises.

Like most corporations, the upper management cares about themselves and the stockholders

    Pros

It hard to a Pro unless your upper management or a stockholder.

    Cons

Upper management doesn't look at quality of the job being done or workload being performed. The company buys out other companies and then as many do start cutting personnel without much regard to what those people are contributing or what issues will be caused by the loss. No honest care for their employees or for that matter their customer base.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Start taking into consideration the quality of the people that are working for the company and the actual level of experience that they have.

    Pros

Everyone is working towards the same goal - making Mitel #1 in the telephony business. Excellent direction, management and guidance.

    Cons

Health benefits are among the worst in the market place. Alternatively, it's still better than Obama care.

    Pros

There are no pros at Mitel.

    Cons

Mitel is like a wild west saloon, pretending to be a professional company. If you have integrity and real business skills, then no paycheck will make Mitel worth your time. On the other hand, if you don't mind turning your head the other way and stroking executive egos all day (among other things), then go on over - they'd love to have you.

    Pros

Good company applications driven products and outstanding support with SE & Inside sales teams to assist you in winning business. Their virtual products with VMWare are super.

    Cons

Too many changes to marketing programs each quarter and it confuses the dealer channel support teams as to what program to promote to the sales reps.
