I have been working at Mitsubishi Heavy Industries full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Many of the people working at MHIA have been working there for 20+ years. It's like a big family.

    Cons

They'll never promote you. I've been with the company for 6 years and unless you'd also like to do the same thing for the next 20 years - don't work here.

    Advice to Management

Listen to your employees and try to value them a bit more. The company makes millions of dollars a year.

    Pros

Smooth and consistent work flow. The work is also very straight forward and easy to pick up on quickly.

    Cons

No room to grow or move up in the company. Upper management also treated their employees like children. There was a serious lack of respect for lower ranking employees.

    Advice to Management

Provide relevant incentives for your employees. And work on not punishing the entire department when one individual doesn't follow the rules.

    Pros

At age of 27 it gives me worthless experience, open my vision, changed my attitude how to manage people during project.

    Cons

some of my vendors were giving me passionless arguments which cause delays, My zero tolerance to maintain the quality, some of the co workers vendors and staff do not agree with my zero tolerance and no compromise on material issues.

    Advice to Management

Advice to management to listen to its staff , it helps in two ways. a) Technical staff complete its job before time ( Time management ) . b) it will be easy to handle co-workers , employee and Labour.

I worked at Mitsubishi Heavy Industries full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

This company is one of the biggest companies in Japan. They always have many big projects including national projects. Their business is very stable and most people working there are nice and friendly. You can expect good stable income and life.

    Cons

Because you would be in charge of a big project, you might feel, as an engineer, you are not getting better at practical engineering.

    Advice to Management

Because there are many greatly talented people working in this company, it is really important to leverage them at full efficiency in every projects.
