I have been working at Mitsui O.S.K. Lines as a contractor (more than 3 years)

    Pros

good reasons - fast grow (depend of promotions), hight level of supply and ship quality (but ship equipment usually from old storage)

    Cons

long contarcts (4+2, but usually in 5-8 months), salary not so hight like in other good companies, because low grow of salary per year (less than 1-3%)

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

I wish company will look for the tame of work (always more than in contract) and time of vacation (some people sometimes seat home 6+ month)

I have been working at Mitsui O.S.K. Lines full-time (more than 10 years)

    Pros

I believe MOL Japan is a very loyal and fair organization to work for. Very up front in letting its employees know how the company is doing as a whole. I believe they truly want to do right by its employees. MOL Japan values family and loyalty.

    Cons

MOL America is known to have very bold unfair hiring and promoting practices within their North America customer service division. This leaves most employees fearful of losing their jobs, While others who have been hired and promoted through these ill gotten practices never have to face those types of fears.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

My advise to MOL Japan and it's chief officers would be to implement a process where you can hear directly from the employees. I can assure you have no idea of the type of discrimination that threatens your company, or the management that tarnishes the loyal and fair image of MOL. My score is based on my disappointment of effective and fair management.

I worked at Mitsui O.S.K. Lines as a contractor (more than a year)

    Pros

    Good supply of quality spares.

    Cons

This is a company (MOLTANK Ship, Singapore) with no scruples & people in the office tell a let of lies & ask people on board to tell lies to save their own skin. Not a company to be associated with. Company (MOLTANK Ship, Singapore) employs people who have been to jail for 2 times. Senior staff in office at fleet manager level do not have a clue how to run a gas carrier.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Learn to correct yourselves & stop telling lies just to please owners.
