Average

Sales Associate (Former Employee)
Markham, ON (Canada)

I worked at Mobilicity part-time for more than a year

ProsIt is an average job, it's basic salary + commission (depending on what plans you sell). You gain experience in dealing with difficult customers (especially the ones who keeps demanding for discounts), how to handle criticisms and policies.

ConsIt's a very young company. Management is disorganized. Don't expect to move up easily.

No, I would not recommend this company to a friend

Innovative vision, poor management

Sales Associate (Former Employee)
Richmond Hill, ON (Canada)

I worked at Mobilicity part-time for less than a year

ProsThe company was the first to launch the unlimited plan in the country.
They do have some edge in the industry

ConsDespite of the innovative products, the staffs are usually poorly trained, or don't even know what the products. Poor management, basically the stores are on-their-own.

Advice to Senior ManagementIntensify training and supervisions to branches and stores.

Assistant Corporate Store Manager (Current Employee)
Surrey, BC (Canada)

I have been working at Mobilicity full-time for more than a year

ProsGood way to start off your management career.

ConsMost growing companies will have issues when they are still in their growing phase, nonetheless, You may have to deal with uptight and provocative clients. What separates you from other people is whether or not you manage that situation with a calm attitude.

I have been working at Mobilicity part-time for less than a year

ProsDecent, affordable plans for all Canadians...Haha.

ConsPoor, unfriendly, sketchy management. Inflexible work scheduling. Unclear direction.

Exciting opportunity, that turned out to be a disaster, heavy work load, poor compensation.

Dealer Account Executive (Former Employee)

I worked at Mobilicity

Prosthe company has great vision, and concept. Huge potential

ConsCompany operates on a very low budget, and the people who have been hired in the regional management positions are not very industry savvy, or knowledgable. Only a handful of the leaders actually know what they are doing.

Advice to Senior ManagementListen to your employees, and embrace opinions and ideas, it is the only way to innovate. Learn to take risks.
