    Pros

Good work-life balance. As a full-time employee, the company has subsidized for a free membership at the gym located at Pacific Shores.

    Cons

I hate the commute and there are no sick leave policy.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

It would be nice to have a chance to work from home at least for one-day in a week.

    Pros

ModelN is a great place to work. Culture over here is very open and very flexible so it is very easy to balance work-life. Leadership is also great and provide you with enough space/time for work and opportunities to grow. Looking at the technology - you get exposure to fairly latest and cutting edge technology depending on the role and work. Talking about perks - ModelN would be way ahead to take care of their employees and providing open culture to them. Free Lunch on every Friday, Monthly Happy hour, Company Meetings/Picnic adds up as a great perk to the employees. Not to forget company shutdown during end of the year is another opportunity (in the form of appreciation) from ModelN to each and every employee to take time off, relax and spend quality time with your family - just before the new year kicks in. I believe that is why ModelN is able to bring great people/team to work with. I simply enjoy each and every day at ModelN.

    Cons

I would not consider this as a really cons point but it would be great to do a review on pay scales. Although it is equivalent to Market outside but exceeding the same would make it hard to loose any level of talent and it would be easy to bring exceptional skilled people as well.

    Pros

The companies core values says it all. DARE. You can read about it on the company website. People are super nice and respect each other. No jerks here. You have the freedom to execute with clear goals. Great mentorship and company believes in investing and training employees often and per need. Lots of fun events and beer bashes and happy hour. Fantastic gym with showers and towels and group classes free!

    Cons

Management could do a better job of sharing their vision and future initiatives. Company has a lot of new initiatives so there is experimentation in processes and tools etc which leads to some chaos now but should stabilize in the near future.
Monetary compensation is barely market to slightly below market. Stock compensation is no where near industry standard.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Please hire people who have done this over and over who can find problems promptly and are not fearful of speaking their mind.
    Communicate coherently and artfully.

    Pros

Company is proactively blazing new trails to transform company and create a leading new category. Exciting times. They try to retain some of the good elements of a "startup culture" but infused with benefits of a more established stable company. Best of both worlds.

    Cons

Strategy and product direction can be ambiguous at times - but that is the nature of an emerging market in transition.

SaaS strategy to grow the business
Nice perks with an opportunity to participate in growth/profits through a variety of programs, including Company bonus , ESPP participation, RSUs

    Cons

Need to have a robust quality department to thoroughly test the product(s) before the release

    Pros

Eventually you can leave and find another job. Met some nice people. Lots of young idealistic worker bees who try hard but burn out when they realize they can't make any difference.

    Cons

Tooo many to list without sounding bitter! Lots of BS about process and improvements, little results. Hi emphasis on face time at the office, but management don't care about quality of results. Hi level of attrition. One dept had 60% of the rank-and-file team leave within 6 mos, but management didn't think they're was a problem (the only people left were management and the H1bs who couldn't leave). Managers prefer to hire people of their same nationality, good luck getting hired if your not Indian or Chinese.

    I worked at Model N full-time

    Pros

Management strategy is headed in the right direction. Infusion of new leadership with existing management is driving ModelN forward delivering better customer value and employee stability.

    Cons

Salary expectations are in the midrange. Work life balance exists with a high sense of urgency on a daily basis. For exempt employees this is a 6 day week career with high expectation to deliver daily.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Focus on process improvement and work flow procedures with inter-department SLAs to establish expectations. Employees are working fast and hard - without increasing efficiencies - anticipate employee burn-out.

    Pros

After this job, everything will seem easy and you will have a lot of free time

    Cons

Expectation is to work every weekend, travel any time asked and not get paid up to par. Training is non existent and 90% of the people you have to work with are in India. Exployee satisfaction and appreciation is minimal to non-existent. Employees in India have their own agenda and are daft at best. Want a different position in the company, well then better be friends with the director.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Sell the company, because you all cant run a company to save you lives. Look at the stock price and tell me if it is a lie
