    Pros

Like a big unique family, great team, very straight foward and honest

    Cons

Moes corporation sends out "secret shoppers" for quality control. Just remain calm and do the routine, its just a show.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Pros

Nothing really. The hours were terrible, my coworkers and managers weren't friendly

    Cons

No one before me came in to wash dishes so the dishes to wash were from all day. Management wasn't friendly and definitely had their favorite employees

    Pros

Great atmosphere, free food, great boss, easy place to work, fun place to work, great pay, easy schedule, interesting group coworkers.

    Cons

I do not have many cons. The store needed a little updating, the costumers were a little out of hand on $5 burrito day.

I have been working at Moe's Southwest Grill full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

Food is really good, that's about it...

    Cons

The owner is a major pain, employees call off and don't report to work. Busy lunches and dinners on days that the owner has minimal staff on. Not a happy environment and so much stress that I'm surprised they are still running. Owner doesn't believe in giving her staff the tips they make in a day, she keeps it for her self. Doesn't appreciate anyone just yells and attacks everyone.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Get corporate to train the owners not just once but every two months so they learn how to actually run a Moe's.

I worked at Moe's Southwest Grill part-time (less than an year)

    Pros

The manager was friendly and cool and he seemed to like me. Most of the co-workers were pretty relaxed and casual, but there was one specific guy that seemed to have a problem with me even though I was new and is probably the reason I lost my position.

    Cons

I wasn't interviewed, they just hired me because I walked in and asked for an application which I think was kind of shady. Is that legal? I wasn't given enough time to adjust to the many jobs they were (not adequately) training me to do, and they gave me about 20 hours on the job before completely booting me, despite being aware that it was my first job and previously expressing satisfaction with my learning pace and listening skills. So getting kicked was pretty surprising.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Give new workers time to adjust to the many different jobs you're teaching them, train them thoroughly, allow them room to correct their mistakes when they make them.

    Pros

Gives you experience in customer service and food service.

    Cons

No matter how hard you work, you will most likely never get a raise. I was promised a raise after 90 days and I've worked double that time and no one has even spoken to me about changing my wage.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Take into consideration how hard your employees work for you.
