    Pros

Very relaxed atmosphere, fun team mates. Good chance to take a course on the side if you're on co-op. Gives you experience on how teaching would be like if you're pursuing that as a career.

    Cons

very slow at times, students don't usually come in for help. Some students expect you to do their homework which can get annoying a times.

    Advice to Management

Allow for more hands on teaching opportunities, such as leading tutorials. Would be nice to be able to get involved in delivering a lecture.

    Pros

It's got a great atmosphere for staff, the union is good. Hard work is recognized and gives you a lot of opportunities to grow as a person.

    Cons

Parking is expensive, people don't care about student wellbeing, the only way to get hired is if you know someone who works there already. Everyone has been there a million years and refuse to change anything or improve it.

    Pros

Personal growth and satisfaction knowing you are sending a well rounded student out into the world of aviation

    Cons

To make sure the students get a good education a nd become valuable employees in the aviation industry.

    Advice to Management

Hire more full time rather than part time employees it does not save money in the long run and there is more consistancy in the teaching with one instructor.

    Pros

It is a well respected college recently finishing at the top of a KPI survey in student satisfaction. Great staff including co-workers and support staff. Close relationship to other teaching areas within our department. It allows me to set up my own curriculum. Good on-line platforms to teach some content from. It is a quick commute from home.

    Cons

Working Part-time in Continuing Education is the worst pay rate that you can receive at this school. In additional, the pay rate is only for the hours in class; i.e., no payment for class prep, creating /grading tests assignments, answering e-mails etc. And there has been no raise in this faculty for approximately 8 years.... yes; eight.

    Advice to Management

Pay your part-time staff a fair sum or allow a union to form.
