I have been working at Mojiva full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

Full of energy and excitement. The company is dedicated to building the best technology and keep up with the fast pace of mobile. Flexible, relaxed office environment. Maintaining a clear focus on the product and business that we want to grow helps bring the team together.

    Cons

Growing from a scrappy start-up to an enterprise grade SAAS business can be a challenge, particularly for product cycles and the "speed to market" versus "robust QA with regression testing". Maintaining two separate lines of business can be a challenge.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Maintain transparency and communication of direction.

I have been working at Mojiva full-time (less than an year)

    Pros

Everyone cares. Almost no people who just sit on it's place.
    Good tech. Nice products.
    Great kitchen in office.
Because of size you can come to anyone to discuss you ideas.

    Cons

Looks like management did several mistakes, because company don't grow fast enough.
Because of the atmosphere in company you will work overtime a lot. And it is not payed.
Basically you cannot grow in this company, because structure changes happens only after annual reports.

    Pros

Start-up feel. Cool office space at first ... Then slowly starts to feel like you're working from a hotel. Some smart tech people.

    Cons

Micro-management everywhere. CEO literally looks over shoulder ... Non-approachable even though he claims he is. CLIQUES! Non-contributors slipping thru cracks. Management not professional nor effective.

    Pros

Working for Mojiva you get a great work and social life balance. The culture and enviroment in the office is very laid back but everyone is very diligent and hardowrking. Most people are passionate and like to come to work every day which makes it a nice place to come to.

    Cons

It could get loud at times in the NY office, since there's a big group of us on the main floor, with the kitchen nearby and people congregate around and chat when you are trying to work,

I worked at Mojiva as an intern (less than an year)

    Pros

    - very flexible hours
    - friendly, polite, motivated people
    - laid-back environment
    - one of the nicest offices I've ever worked in- beautifully decorated and spacious
    - great location in between Soho and Chinatown
    - large emphasis on eating well, exercise and healthy living
    - emphasis on teamwork, self evaluation, transparency and constructive criticism

    Cons

My main responsibilities were things like scanning mail, organizing office supplies and running errands so I didn't always feel challenged, but I think this is typical of most internships and I did gain a greater appreciation for the hard work that goes into running an office

I have been working at Mojiva full-time (less than an year)

    Pros

    - The people: from Sr Management on down everyone is motivated, intelligent, helpful, and easy to work with. I recently had to deal with a serious family medical issue, and the understanding and flexibility I was shown throughout that time truly went above and beyond what I would expect from a company.

    - The office: I’ve spent time in the New York and Los Angeles offices, and they both feel more like an apartment than an office. I can’t stand sterile corporate spaces, so the setup is perfect for me. Plus the LA office is just a few blocks from the Pacific ocean, you can't beat a walk to the beach on your lunch break!

The benefits: the big things, like healthcare, are covered, but there are so many little perks that make this company feel special. We always have a well-stocked kitchen, and the Healthy Mojiva incentives are fantastic!

    Cons

It's still a young company, so at times I put in more than 40 hours a week. I generally don't mind, though, because it feels more like give and take.
