I worked at Molnlycke full-time (more than 10 years)

    Pros

Great products and some employees still have a passion for them. Many new folks are definitely changing the culture for the worse.

    Cons

More and more decisions were taken, erring on the side of the company and away from the employee.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

New management (after recent clean sweep) will continue in wrong direction.

I have been working at Molnlycke full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

People care about patients, customers and employees. Management seem to care about employees. There is freedom to grow and improve things in the business.

    Cons

It's a Swedish company and sometimes that comes with an effect of slow decision making due to consensus. Info is not shared across departments, or by management and political games are in play. Things are run like a "project" instead of like a business.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Hire management who have people skills & successful management experience in the same or relevant area. Don't just shift people around, it is incestuous to business.

I have been working at Molnlycke full-time (more than 5 years)

    Pros

Atmosphere of care for our customers, good competitive benefits, big enough to offer career opportunities whilst still small enough to care for staff. Feels like a large family firm. Very cooperative staff and high level of togetherness when facing challenges.

    Cons

Slow to take and implement decisions (can be an advantage at times however) and not always well structured organisationally.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Keep and improve transparency. Keep doing what has been going right so far and fully engage the staff as the company evolves which it certainly is doing.

    Pros

Pay is decent. Most people are helpful.

    Cons

Increased Turnover. Employees in some departments wear many hats causing them to feel depleted.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Learn how to manage and understand your employees. This will encompass knowing the functions of their roles and what is needed to make the team effective.

    Good benefits, but too political

    Current Employee - Anonymous Employee
    Current Employee - Anonymous Employee

I have been working at Molnlycke

    Pros

Many great, competent and friendly people. Great benefits and salary.

    Cons

Too many managers and too few workers. Too many decisions are made by people with little experience and competence in some matters...could be dangerous to company future. When many good people are leaving the company is usually not a good sign.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Be cautious when promoting people to key positions! Too many ill-suited people in high positions could be the downfall of the company.
