    Negative Outlook

I worked at Monadnock Community Hospital full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

location provides an opportunity for solitude, ample opportunity for character development, think Daniel in the Lions Den

    Cons

Board of Directors unsure of direction agency ought to go, most Board members unclear of work being done or who did the work.

    Advice to Management

no advice to management, their lack of concern for clients evidenced by how they eviscerated the agency

I have been working at Monadnock Community Hospital part-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Good Benefit Package with with ample PTO. The Bond Wellness Center is a huge plus and convenient for employees. Most co-workers are genuinely nice people.

    Cons

Considerably lower wages than what the market suggests. It seems that salaried employees are better cared for than hourly employees. High number of layoffs in recent years. Hire from within culture was much more prevalent 2-3 years ago. Few, if any attempts seem to be made to retain long-term, valuable employees.

    Advice to Management

Don't forget.... Your employees and their families are also your patients.

    Pros

Excellent team to work with, frontline staff have access to administration any time, administration listens to frontline staff input, hospital is in front of the lean initiative necessary to stay viable in volatile healthcare industry, compensation is competitive, focus is REALLY on taking good care of the patient.

    Cons

Cold climate, otherwise I've had a great experience working here.

    Advice to Management

Continue to be transparent with staff through good and challenging times, hope you can recruit more practitioners for your referral base.
