I worked at Monarch Dental full-time

    Pros

Great doctors, fun staff, and if you happen to move, there are offices you can transfer to, if you so desire.

    Cons

The computer software is way outdated! It's so old, there is a code from getting from one page to the next. So there is a lot of memorizing.

    Advice to Management

Update the computer software! That's really the only thing I disliked about working there. The newer systems are a lot quicker.

    Advice to Management

Hire management who know about how dental offices are run & have some knowledge of procedures.

I have been working at Monarch Dental full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Benefits which a lot of private offices don't include, pto, paid holidays, 401k, health, life insurance. lots of offices nearby if you need to change locations or need extra work. office managers do seem to care and work with you as much as possible. Great to get your foot in the door and get some experience.

    Cons

As much as the office managers try there is very little they can actually do, corporate is based in california and cares very little about you. if you expect a raise after 90 days think twice, only done once a year and again management has very little say, its all about the numbers. be prepared to make little here money wise compared to other offices. They also just had a CEO change June 2014.

I worked at Monarch Dental full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

A great place to learn many aspects of dental work. Decent pay and benefits. Good hours most of the time IF sales are not down, and for Monarch it is not quality of care, just quantity.

    Cons

lying to patients about needs, high school drama, employees stealing from each other, office managers drinking on the job , district managers with NO dental knowledge, back biting, no employee loyalty, vindictive and petty upper management. Hours cut if sales are low so you dont know when you will be short hours.

    Advice to Management

Do some basic fact checking, learn some thing about the dental field, and stop being childish.

    Pros

The opportunity to learn about the dental field because is immense because the clinics are always so busy and at times you can learn both front and back office duties,

    Cons

Understaffed, lack of promotion, clinic mentality

    Advice to Management

I advice the management to consider the value of their employees work; the turnover in the dental field is so great and it should not have to be.
