I have been working at Monmouth-Ocean Hospital Service full-time
Pros – Growth opportunity, Good opportunity for new EMTs
Cons – Poor raises, failure to give sufficient information about patient transport
Advice to Senior Management – Value all your employees not just the Medics

I have been working at Monmouth-Ocean Hospital Service part-time for more than a year
Pros – You mainly do hospital discharges, very little dialysis runs. You don't have a supervisor constantly breathing down your neck for the entire shift.
Cons – The pay is horrible, probably the worst in the state for EMS. Administration does not care for their field employees.
Advice to Senior Management – Treat the BLS crews with more respect. Remember, they're the consistent money makers for the company. They're the reason why you get your bonus every year even though they don't.
Yes, I would recommend this company to a friend

I worked at Monmouth-Ocean Hospital Service full-time for more than 7 years
Pros – Flexible hours and great co workers.
Cons – Horrible management that micro manages everything. Horrible vehicles to use for patient transport. Management treats you like dirt and will work you like a mule for their sole benefit.
Advice to Senior Management – Learn how to manage your company. Go to school and get an education so you can learn how to manage people effectively without threats and disrespect.
No, I would not recommend this company to a friend – I'm not optimistic about the outlook for this company

I worked at Monmouth-Ocean Hospital Service full-time for more than 7 years
Pros – The one positive thing I can say is that the work environment is extremely flexible, as you can always adjust your schedule accordingly. Also, there is very little negative blowback when you're completely unqualified for your job and mess up all the time.
Cons – Most of management is a joke. Uneducated, over-paid with no real business experience and come from the field. Management is simply playing business and want toys and a false sense of entitlement and accomplishment.
Advice to Senior Management – Hire competent people with real experience and know how to run a company. Stop self-promoting (and re-promoting) from within every time someone gets an online degree. Look into giving your employees a raise of more than $0.25 / hour every 3 years.
