    Pros

Beautiful campus. Decent benefits. Has a pension.

    Cons

Worked in a department called TPS. Ridiculous amounts of work to do. No concern for how many hours people are working . Never any improvements to any process. High rate of turnover but no one seemed concerned enough to try to stop it.

    Advice to Management

Pay attention when people leave in droves.

    Pros

    The benefits are really good.

    Cons

The pay has not stayed competitive. Way too many middle managers. Hard to function with the amount of oversight on every small detail.

    Advice to Management

    Deliver on your promises.

    Pros

Decent benefits. Week off between Xmas and New Years.

    Cons

Non-competitive pay and bad review process. Management doesn't connect well with employee. Company lacks direction and most definitely lacks leadership.

Too many managers that are just the same, the process for picking and promoting people is hopelessly broken, intentionally so. Favors a certain group of people and the rest not considered no matter what their contributions are.

    Advice to Management

You need to rate management on different things than you do today. Too many people talk about doing things and are promoted, people who are doing things are ignored. Just makes for a bad work environment.

    Pros

You can make some good friends here, there are still some decent areas to work outside of the US Commercial organization.

    Cons

Heavy-handed micromanagement at the Senior level. Complete indifference toward employees, rudeness and lack of concern for anything in the way of development. Management level doesn't understand even the basics of the group they manage, disregard the advice of employees with skills and experience. A really arrogant view of things. It wasn't this way when I started, but there has become an huge separation between management and employees. You never see managers unless they want to dump something on your desk for you to do to make them look good in a meeting. Total focus on their career development, but no one ever gets promoted from this team, it is a career dead-end and HR does nothing to help at all, even though they know what the problems are.

    Advice to Management

You need some new management, give the folks that have been in their roles 10, 15 20 years new challenges so this group can have some new ideas and approaches. Make career paths, the area just seems like a dumping ground for older employees, not sure how HR gets away with it.
