    Positive Outlook

I have been working at Monster Technologies full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

This is a great company for freshman and to start a new career. I learnt a lot from senior and principal mentors, who were very welcome and willing to help at any problem in job I encounter. Senior developers there are real professionals (Monsters!) at their area of IT. Additionally they understand that juniours does not have too much expirience, so no pressure at all, sit and learn and try to program. Nice atmosphere at work, HR stuff are very welcome to help you and answer any questions related to work at Monster.

    Cons

Team builds are rare occasion, which may lead to routine and boring work you do every day. Typical day: morning job-one hour lunch-afternoon job-go home.

    Pros

great location in Prague center some nice benefits: private med care, gym membership discount, meal vouchers, regular parties potentially interesting web work games room: pool, table tennis, darts

    Cons

huge differences between employee wages no work for extended periods (can be nice for a week or two but not for months in a row) stiff, self indulgent and at times incompetent managers some weird colleagues with team-work issues

    Advice to Management

take better care of employees, apply some soft skills filters when hiring

    Pros

Technically competent / skilled pros (many who have since been laid off) Great place to work if waiting for layoff oppurtunity.

    Cons

Contributes to America's export to the world - layoffs! Laughable discrepancy between what management says & actually do. Boot lickers and back stabbers are viewed in positive light.

    Advice to Management

    Walk the talk!
