I worked at Montage Hotels & Resorts full-time for less than a year
Pros – (Mostly) Good, hard working, friendly coworkers.
Free daily meal.
Luxurious and comfortable environment.
Some benefits and special privileges. (General hotel use, related perks, etc)
Gain valuable experience in the luxury resort industry.
Meet some great people. (Guests)
Have a chance to impact the lives of others in a positive, lasting way.
Cons – Parking; I hate to complain, but it really was the worst. (Off site, Ruby's Diner, walking, or the Hospital, with shuttle service to and from the resort)
Management can be blind at times to the relationships between coworkers.
Somewhat of a clique atmosphere between the different departments.
Not a lot of actual opportunities for real advancement, though they seem to promote the idea heavily.
Advice to Senior Management – Try to pay more attention to the dynamics of your team on a relational level. Many times folks who do a truly good job are overlooked because they don't boast about their hard work, while those who voice their accomplishments get recognized simply because they choose to be loud and attention seeking.
Yes, I would recommend this company to a friend

I have been working at Montage Hotels & Resorts
Pros – Quality benefits and work environment
Cons – Substandard pay in the industry
Advice to Senior Management – Quality workplace, but take a note from what works. Staffing is difficult. To provide the level of service inherent to the brand, you need to pay associates enough to want to stick around.
