    Pros

    Marketing and product development team listen to sales team. Compensation was good too.

    Cons

    Questionable hiring at executive level significantly damaged the eithos of Moodlerooms.

    I worked at Moodlerooms

    Pros

    I got to work with Moodle, a great product used by 40 million users worldwide, that provides low cost educational software for teachers, students and universities.

    Cons

    Very money driven, yet wasteful management - burn through investment capital like water
    scornful of expertise of staff.
    Sales staff were not experts in the product provided, nor were support staff very knowledgeable. Efforts to improve internal training were blocked by management, expertise of staff was a low priority.

    I have been working at Moodlerooms full-time for more than a year

    Pros

    I have great coworkers. The culture of the company is fun and fast moving. It is not a place for slackers!

    Cons

    The cost of benefits keeps getting higher and higher. There are no salary increases or formal review process. The pay is low and below industry standards.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Increased cost of living and benefits makes it hard for good employees to stay when salary is stagnant.
