Pros
Integrity, full of passion. You can make friends with stuff worked in this company and others who worked in other branched locations
Cons
Hard to get improved for the local Chinese people like us. At least I think so. And it may be hard to change ur profession.

Pros
It could be a good start for ppls that has no experience of finance industry. The franchise was fantastic, but is in bad situation these yrs.
Cons
the comp in SH is not enough to keep senior ppls with the firm. The increment is very small. The development of career will be tough here without a highlighted project,
Advice to Senior Management
The management team do a good job on people management, but becoz of the bad performance of industry, ppls in SH can hardly get comp as good as other regions. Even ppls do the same work.
Pros
It's a leading company in the Financial industry. pays people well. As a previous trainee, the training program is great, though we are not going to New York and Tokyo.
Cons
Work Life Balance will not be so great. Hongkong counterpart and collegues get so much more pay than our Shanghai department, although Shanghai guys also work hard.
Well, there are some lateral hires in Shanghai are not working so hard, always coming late, but I think it's kinda culture in China's IT company.
And the air conditioning in the Bund Center is not so good making people want to sleep
Advice to Senior Management
Raise Shanghai's salary, at least we should get the same pay position as Hongkong counterpart. Create more oppotunities for people, especially new people, to visit other region, at least inside Asia. This will help employee feel more existence and exposure, also adding more values.
