    Pros

Management truly cares about the growth and development of each employee. There is a transparency at this company that I have never experienced before. As a corporate employee you are given a lot of autonomy, which is a positive change from other companies I have worked for. Mosaic strives to have an amazing company culture and you see proof of that through our many events, happy hours and team activities. Being surrounded by some of the smartest people I have ever met intimidated me at first, but having easy access to those individuals and departments has helped me greatly in my career, both professionally and personally.

    Cons

Promotions seem like a group initiative based on time worked at the company, opposed to individual merit earned. In some instances (higher level positions) instead of promoting from within, Mosaic will hire from the outside.

    Advice to Management

Continue the same transparency with budgets and company health through to career growth and promotions. Putting in a lot of time at a company is definitely important, but that should not be a determining factor for a promotion. Hard work, grit, work experience, culture fit, adaptability and an all around stand out stellar employee should be top factors.

    Pros

Get to work with a great team, very relaxed job, pay is good enough

    Cons

It's retail so customers can be very tedious. Management sometimes focuses on the wrong metrics

    Advice to Management

Focus less on meaningless metrics and listen to advice from the reps

    Pros

Mosaic hires the best of the best. Many growth opportunities for those who are ready and classes/sessions available for learning and develooment. Innovation is celebrated and everyone is friendly

    Cons

Not enough space for all of the employees. Conference rooms are always booked and the bathrooms run out of supplies by noon.

    Advice to Management

Make sure you provide adequate space for your employees. Private workspace is extremely important to all the people currently not occupying office space.

    Pros

Overall it has been a positive experience working here. The pay is acceptable for the work required.

    Cons

Unfortunately there doesn't seen to a whole lot of upward mobility through out the company and/or programs.

    Advice to Management

Find a way to make advancement opportunities. Without these there becomes a lack of job loyalty and more of a sense of expendability in the programs.

  10. Poor Management of Samsung SES Campaign revealed company flaws and led to Mosaic's termination!

    Negative Outlook

    Pros

Expenses-paid travel to be trained (campaign specific)
    Flexible work hours
Mobile/travel nature of business means no "cubical" stagnation - creates challenges as well
Perfect stop-gap, detached-commitment job - if that's what you desire

    Cons

Management promotions based on nepotism and fraternization (this could be a pro if you're from a big family)
Remote nature of business led to poor: communications of expectations, oversight of goals, and accountability of failures
Poor quality management in hiring process led to "kids leading kids" perception
Poor Morale due to high turnover
Understaffed or ill-equipped payroll dept - I waited 5 months for hundreds $$ in missing wages
(all of these things led to a major client, Samsung, terminating their association with Mosaic in 2014)

    Advice to Management

IF you are profitable the current inefficient way of running the business... think how profitable you could be employing a skilled HR (with adequate standards) and holding existing staff accountable?

    Negative Outlook

    Pros

    1. Flexible work setting non-cubical, so some travel required
    2. Flexible schedule - not typical 9-5
    3. Paid training
    4. Can be low commitment, filler job

    Cons

Company values don't make it to each market or each capaign - my experiences in Seattle market as Samsung Experience Consultant were VERY poor.
    Based on my experiences:
    1. Little vertical mobility due to nepotism and fraternization-based job placement
    2. Understaffed or poor-performing payroll department - missing wages for months
    3. Inadequate HR screening - LQ employee hires, low morale, and high turnover.
    4. Little incentive to improve and lack of employees being "valued"

    Advice to Management

    INCREASE MANAGEMENT OVERSIGHT!
If employee feedback is solicited company should be willing to followup on recommendations/results, being indifferent = employee devaluation
    INCREASE accountability and expectations.
