    Pros

Different opportunities with different companies that Mosaic is able to put you in place. The pay seems to be good depending on the company assigned to. Great Benefits for full time employees with health insurance discounts.

    Cons

None really at the current moment.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Consider making sure that once someone applies for a position they are contacted so they know they are being considered or at least looked at.

    Pros

You work mostly on your own. The training was very thorough and informative, and updated often. You learn about all the newest and greatest technology.

    Cons

The portal and systems are impossibly difficult to use. Management is spread entirely too thin; one field ops manager can manage hundreds of employees. They also migrate management often. In one year, I had four different managers. It is sometimes very difficult to reach any member of management. Payroll issues are very common, and due to the way they have you report your hours, it is almost impossible to track your hours and find any pay discrepancies. The store that Mosaic is "renting" space in (e.g., Best Buy) can email your manager and request you removed from the store for any reason. Mosaic management is required to comply to these requests, due to their contract.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Update your systems. For a company that deals in sales solutions for technology, there is no excuse for the outdated systems you use to do simple things like tracking hours. Value your employees. We aren't just an id number.

    Pros

Good hourly pay. Good full time benefits. Flexible hours for retail. Discount off Samsung product. Company provided phone and discounted plan.

    Cons

First time Samsung has had a retail presence so tons of growing pains. Poor management to employee communication. No set raise structure (over 1 year and 4 mos without any talk of increase in pay)

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Communicate with those under you better. Work on answering questions regarding pay withwith something other than "we are working on it"

Executive Management Team Behave Like a Click in High School

    Pros

With the inefficiency of the company's management, there is always something to do! Never a lack of projects and initiatives. The change in CEO was a great move, but he has his work cut out for himself. He is professional and focused on turning the company around to be more professional and strategic. Unfortunately, this will mean a lot of house cleaning of senior management and that takes time.

    Cons

Executive management behave like a high school click. When the new CEO was announced at a town hall meeting, the VP of HR, who did not like the hew CEO, took the mic and stepped directly in front of him! She proceeded to speak in a condescending manner. The promotion of this guy was a surprise to all of the executive team, who were accustomed to muting the phone during meetings (with him on the other in) and saying very derogatory things about him. They did this in front of anyone, not concerned about how their behaviour was taken.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

This is a professional company. Behave accordingly.

I worked at Mosaic Sales Solutions as a contractor (more than an year)

    Pros

There are consistent work opportunities posted. The programs are on the longer side (16 weeks plus), so you don't have to find new jobs every week. The compensation is decent.

    Cons

The market management is disorganized. There isn't a formal system in place for addressing concerns. Policies are constantly changing, and it's difficult to get in touch with management to get any questions answered. I am still waiting on back pay from four months ago because the online system that pays the field workers has "glitches".

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Be more selective about the field representatives. There isn't much supervision going on and it results in ineffective promotions for your clients. I watched an employee who would regularly cancel samplings because she didn't like people get promoted to market manager.

    Pros

The company is great to work for, they compensate very well and you are able to move up quickly. Benefit package is on par, and the vacation time is fair. Overall, its a great company to work for.

    Cons

Being in the field it can be a lot so you must be prepared for holiday seasons, and retail hours, and there is no raises given out after 1 year. Also, communication is through email and phone, there are no headquarters or main offices so communication some times can be a little trying.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

There should be more room for growth after a program ends or during your program.
