    Pros

I liked that my co-workers were nice and generally easy to get along with. Pay was reasonable for my position and the locality.

    Cons

This hospital was severely understaffed to the point where one employee was often expected to do the work of five. This leads to mistakes which, in the healthcare setting is unacceptable. Also, many areas of the hospital were very dirty which was troubling. When I left it was starting to get a little better as the company that bought this hospital in 2012 was doing some much needed renovations. Another issue related to the severity of short staff was that I was often called in on days off, forced to stay late, or come in early.

    Advice to Management

Staff hospital appropriately so that employees can provide better patient care!

    Pros

I'm not unemployed. I have medical, vision, and dental.

    Cons

Short staff, high work level, lack of training. They want bodies, not capable employees. Management does not support their staff. Childish-unprofessional work environment is encouraged.

    Advice to Management

Consider better training, better staffing, higher wages to retain staff.

The CEO is no longer Andy Anderson. Please update your information, GlassDoor.
