    Pros

Easy to get promoted through manager based on good technical skills and efficiency. Forum W is progressive and the best part about the firm.

    Cons

Extremely political environment beyond staff level. Partners in most groups have annual sales goals so they hoard work, making it hard to build a book of business due to limited support from partners as they watch out for themselves. High turnover.

I have been working at Moss Adams LLP full-time (more than a year)

    Pros

It has the benefits of a Big 4 firm with the feel of a smaller firm and/or private company. The people I work with are awesome; it sort of feels like a family, at least at my office. You will get much more experience at Moss Adams versus a Big 4 firm, because the clients are typically smaller.

    Cons

Like any job in public accounting, it is heavy on the hours.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Pros

Professional atmosphere with caring people, competitive salaries, flexible work schedules, family-oriented.

    Cons

Business casual attire required, 15 days off/year for sick time AND vacation, not a lot of upward mobility if you're not an accountant.

    Pros

None that I can think of

    Cons

When they quote you a salary it is really $6K less because their quote includes benefits
    No 401(k) match
Force you to fill out ridiculous surveys so they can win "Best Places to Work"
    Partner worship
    Client worship
    No respect for non accountants
Forced to attend offsite "volunteer" event in a place that I'd rather not take my car. Do not provide group transportation like my former company did when real volunteer events were is less desirable areas.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    None, they are utterly clueless

    Pros

The people and culture at Moss Adams are what makes people stay here. Moss Adams is committed to hiring high performing individuals. This is a great place to work if you're looking to build a strong career.

    Cons

Managing work/life balance at Moss Adams can be difficult at times, specifically if you have a family. Most of management expects you to be constantly working, while also expecting you to be available for questions during PTO.
