I have been working at Moss Adams LLP full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

Fairly flexible work schedule, a very young and professional work environment, learning new and relevant things each day, job security

    Cons

Too many hours (specifically January through April and August through October). Should be a teaching environment, but many mid-level managers find a way to make it as if it is more of a chore to be teaching anyone anything new.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Need more transparency throughout the firm, from top to bottom.

    Pros

Easy to get promoted through manager based on good technical skills and efficiency. Forum W is progressive and the best part about the firm.

    Cons

Extremely political environment beyond staff level. Partners in most groups have annual sales goals so they hoard work, making it hard to build a book of business due to limited support from partners as they watch out for themselves. High turnover.

    Doesn't Recommend
    Neutral Outlook

    Pros

It has the benefits of a Big 4 firm with the feel of a smaller firm and/or private company. The people I work with are awesome; it sort of feels like a family, at least at my office. You will get much more experience at Moss Adams versus a Big 4 firm, because the clients are typically smaller.

    Cons

Like any job in public accounting, it is heavy on the hours.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice
