Pros
Working with motorola was fun learning lots of new technologies and used to get oppourtunity in doing extra curricular activities like Sports, joining Committes.. etc.
Cons
Promotions and Hike are not transparent/fair , higly controlled by Senior/ Middle management .

Work culture is very good in company that is a huge strength of company.. keep it up and update policies continously so that no injustice is done to employees.

Really good work and challenging work,working for networking group gives you more technical knowledge.

too many shuffles happen at the higher level
they acquire a successful company and close it off
sometimes very unrealistic deadlines adopted by them

Good people and working environment.
This is not a great place for software development, but if you want to learn OSS/BSSS dont join here.

Politics, and mostly the visionary leaders are missing, only board rooms decisions not executed properly. Motorola is being sold to NSN and god knows the futuer of the people over there

Be practical and device good solutions rather to save their skins , this is barely reflects the pro active managment , all the managers need to learn to go and get
