    Pros

    Used to be a fun place to work where people actually cared. You manger actually cared about your career path and looked out for your growth.

    Cons

    Constantly outsourcing and downsizing. It's like walking on a ice covered lake in May. Always have to watch your step and watch for the swinging axe.

    Focus on your people - they are the ones who made you a success before you started cutting their throats.

    - Good place for youngsters to get their hands wet.
    - Upper management is pretty chilled out and would not make you work hard, career progress is decent if you stick around for a lot of years

    Cons

    - Very relaxed attitude towards work. Hard deadlines are never followed.
    - Most of the senior coders walk in anytime they want and stay till whatever time suits them

    Take lots of feedback from entry-level employees or those who have worked in other companies for many years.

    They had a great mentor program available in my department that helped me network with others outside my group.

    Cons

    There was very little movement during the years leading up to the split, so not much opportunity for advancement.
