    Pros

Personal growth is encouraged with yearly listings of paid training programs offered. Resolution of personal, professional issues a priority. Company strives to be competent in new market atmospheres.

    Cons

Large cooperations have inherent management layers to seem to clog efficiency. Not always as flexible with scheduling of hours to meet the needs of todays professionals.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

The world is changing and the companies that are to survive into the next century will be centered on issues that affect personnel who devote their efforts to making the company strong, environmental impacts that are sustaining and nurturing, as well as overall global trends towards a promising tomorrow. I believe the world population will eventually demand no less.

    Pros

As long as work is done you can slack all day long. Nice place to settle down or retire

    Cons

Some of the management personnel are horrendous. Engineers need to play their cards right.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Should think of kicking out most of the dead wood. The place is going to die because of them

    Pros

A long standing company with key core values struggling with how to grow the top line. Long term employees remain loyal and believe in the vision.

    Cons

Hard to be new. Onboarding is handled by each individual hiring manager. MSI has reduced it's employee base by 50% over the last 7 years, so only key positions are being hired for.

    I worked at Motorola Solutions

    Pros

They have a good 401K plan, and the people that work there are great. The Company touts collaboration, move fast, be nimble, and make good decisions, however most employees are not empowered to do these things without approval from upper level management.

    Cons

The benefits are good but they have passed on a lot of the cost to the employees. It is hard to get promoted. There have been major lay-offs for the last few years, and it is not a good environment to work in.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Upper Management should value the experience that long term employees contribute to the corporation. They need to figure out different ways to show a profit other than reducing head count.
