    Pros

Great team dynamics with a strong focus on morale and enjoyable working environment.

    Cons

Seemingly endless mergers and acquisitions leading to a constant worry regarding redundancies and layoffs. It seems as though nearly every month there were layoffs in the 3 years I was there.

Also, very little professional development, (ie: goals, career track discussion, etc)

  2. Things went downhill after InfoSpace "acquisition"

    Pros

The majority of management was located on the east coast and they were very understanding and flexible to work with the time difference.

    Cons

It was difficult to work on assignments when the majority of the team was on a 3 hour time difference. There were about 2 overlapping hours where all members were in the office and not at lunch. The senior management (2007-2010) showed very little promise beyond basic sales and hype-filled presentations.

    Pros

    No pros - bad company

    Cons

There are many, namely an outdated business model and huge debt. The management was clueless

    Advice to Management

They need to communicate more with their staff

    Pros

Used to be some pros for those that got in the company really early and were able to cash out stock options

    Cons

Too many to list. But incompetent, nepotistic management, questionable business practices and God-complex CEO made this the worst company I have ever worked for,

    Pros

Decent pay and benefits. A lot of talented co-workers that knew how to work as a Team and help each other out.

    Cons

Company failed to innovate with a new platform and/or services for an International audience. Management failed to steer the ship in the right direction.

    Advice to Management

Research your demographic before taking an old product Internationally. People in the US are much more likely to spend money on entertainment than those abroad.

    Pros

If you were in early enough you might have made some money through stock options

    Cons

By far the worst company I have worked at. The CEO, Ryan Wuerch is an ego-maniacal narcissist and the environment he creates is absolutely poisonous. Google him or Motricity and you'll find out all you need to know about him and Motricity

    Advice to Management

They wouldn't listen anyway so why bother offering advice
