    Very Dissatisfied - Labor Relations

    (Former Employee)

ProsGreat health insurance. The hospital is located on the upper east side of Manhattan. The location was fantastic - short walk from the subway, access to great restaurants, etc.

ConsIf you are a professional who is used to working independently and having autonomy, this is probably not the best place for you. I had very little control over my schedule; rather, the office staff determined my appointments and day-to-day activities. I felt as if I was closely monitored and was only permitted to leave the office, during work hours, if I had an appointment that was scheduled. In my opinion, it wasn't a progressive work environment.

Advice to Senior ManagementIf you want to attract and retain top talent for this department, vast and sweeping changes are in order. I recommend new senior management.

    it's ok to gain experience.

    Anonymous Employee (Current Employee)

ProsGreat benefits. Great Doctors. The facilities are state of the art. A very clean and professional work place. It's a hospital with great reputation. Doctors sincerely care about their patients. Management is very compassionate and lenient towards their employees.

ConsPromotions are rare, unless you make a lot of noise and management likes you. Other than that you'll be seating in the same desk for ever.

Advice to Senior ManagementEmployees would like raises, bonuses, and the opportunity to grow not just financially but professionally.
