Pros
big research community, well-supported training centre. You are working along with other 100 students at the same level. It creates healthy competitive environment. Hospital provides above -average resources for research, and support (statistics, informatics, animal centre etc.)
Cons
Financial resources are limited within the last few years, cut on funding for trainees.
Advice to Senior Management
listen to the feedback from the trainees
Pros
Very friendly environment, a great place to work, would gladly go back if I had the opportunity. Just waiting for a position to open up!
Cons
After you leave...they disappear! Tried to meet previous co-workers for lunch but to no avail! Would love to meet them again!
Advice to Senior Management
Keep an open mind in the younger generation of workers...they are more capable of accomplishing things than you think they can!
Pros
You still have to be happy your working! Things are bad everywhere or most places I guess.
Cons
Lately it feels like you're at a concentration camp. Highly institutional.
Advice to Senior Management
Allow workers to do job without hovering over them so as to create an environment where the employee is comfortable in his space. This I believe would lead to more productivity and self motivation.
