The up and down issues are related. Fine place to work if you want to do your own thing within an organization with limited planning and direction. That can quickly turn into a negative when you consider everyone else is doing the same - so where is this ship headed. Growth by acquisition remains the only thing in the focus of senior management. There is limited senior attention to running what we have, other than asking middle management to squeeze more revenue out of it. Being owned by a VC means increasing profits and quick is the prime directive. We fully expect to be sold once we become profitable enough to attract some interest.
