    Pros

Great group of people at the local level.

    Cons

Senior management disconnected from the business. No clear business strategy long term.

    Advice to Management

Don't manage to the month or the quarter. Invest long term in people at the local level and eliminate the silo management.

  2. Boring work, poor management, old technology

I worked at Munters full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Flexible hours, good benefits, a few nice people

    Cons

No room for advancement, upper management does not have a clue on how to run the business, very boring company to work for, operations manager does not get along with anyone, much back-stabbing. Pay sucks compared to similar positions at other companies.

    Advice to Management

Hire talented people and pay a competitive wage - turnover would be a lot less. Fire managers that do not even have a high school education.

  3. I enjoyed my time as an intern.

    Negative Outlook
    No opinion of CEO

I worked at Munters as an intern (Less than a year)

    Pros

Left to my own devices, some days that I felt lazy I could just hide in my cubical and enter invoices and other days I could do more creative company projects. I had a unique opportunity because we had a long term project that I was helping on. I got to explore the whole factory chasing down assets.

    Cons

if you can't handle entering invoices for several hours, this might be rough. if you don't have a secondary project there's not much work to do once you get good at quickly entering invoices.

I worked at Munters full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

multi-faceted internal opportunities, located in over 30 countries, decent pay, mostly good, intelligent people

    Cons

top level mgmt in sweden not very strong; global organization can be infuriating at the local level; too much of a field of dreams mentality in regards to new products

    Advice to Management

what works in EU prob won't work in AM and vice versa; don't force it…ALSO - operations and sales should be working together…quit the pillar format

    Pros

The company has a huge potential with its core products and technical know how. It has good reason to be the market leader in the field.

The company is a medium sized company and as most of its size, it lacks long term vision.

    Advice to Management

All stake holders need to be driven by cohesive long term objectives.
