I have been working at Murata Power Solutions full-time

    Pros

Good people, good cafeteria, close to stores

    Cons

Stupid set hours, even for salaried people, forced hour lunches, no flex time at all. Image more important then employees home lives

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Bring back flex hours. Setting concrete hours did absolutely nothing except decrease moral and productivity, since many people were perfectly happy to put in extra time each day and still leave at a decent time. Very selfish and self centered decision for upper management to make without asking those affected if this would work....some even lost income because they had to stop second jobs. Not a good decision at all. Main reason that I am looking for employment elsewhere.

I have been working at Murata Power Solutions full-time (more than 5 years)

    Pros

Great working atomosphere. Work-life can be well balanced. At least for Shanghai site.
Colleages and managers are nice to work with, they are patient enough for the imrpovement of emplyees. Thus it would be a good place to start the power electronics engineer career.

    Cons

The payment and benefit are in the average level within same industry.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Increase the benefits and compensation, keep the open and pleasant working atomoshpere.
