    Pros

Gives you full time and plenty of hours as compared to a lot of places in the area. Somewhat decent starting pay.

    Cons

Management is terrible, I work in the Nursing Home part of the hospital and it is the biggest mess. It has an insanely high turnover rate because it's so understaffed, to the point that it's probably illegal some days. You never get a raise, so there's no incentive to stay there. People who have worked there ten years get paid the same as new hires. The administration does not listen to employee concerns. They won't work with you on your schedule if you're going to school or have outside obligations. So many times I've heard of people requesting to have certain days of the week off, but then being scheduled only those days for spite. Worst administration I've ever seen. The clinical employees there work their butts off, and I think that's the only reason the place hasn't crashed.

    Advice to Management

Clean up administration in the nursing home, they need an eye opening. People who do schedules should be approachable and willing to help, not looking for ways to screw over employees. Give some raises or some kind of incentive to stay with the company. Stop making empty promises and telling employees that you can't afford to give raises after telling them how much money the company is saving because of them and how much money is being given to the community.

Steer Clear! They lie and then cover things up on a daily basis.

    Pros

    There are absolutely positively none!

    Cons

Worst management that has ever existed in the history of mankind! They care nothing for their employees, just warm bodies and numbers. Provide all this 'mandatory training' for staff to be more caring and attentive to the patients, etc...but that is not where the problems are. The clinical staff is amazing, the management, however, is the 'good ol boy' system. As long as you are a local and related to somebody else in the community you are safe, even if you are dumb as a box of rocks. Many management and especially upper management positions are held by extremely incompetent people.

    Advice to Management

Clean house, start at the top
