    Pros

    Good pay for the job, seems like employees are screened well and are competent in their discipline, they help to line out all processes for on-boarding.

    Cons

    I can not really say anything bad about the company my experiences were good. Some may or may not agree.

    Pros

    Great Local people to work with.

    Cons

    Even with the great local coworkers, you're just a number to the bean counters. Way too much emphasis on the earnings for the month, not the future. Laying off good employees to make the months revenue look better, is a terrible way of doing business. Of course the bean counters have a different opinion, maybe one day, they will experience "being a number".

    Don't micro management SO much, trust on your local managers.

    Pros

    Company offers excellent opportunity and growth potential on a range of telecom equipment and compensation is fair. Management and executives are great to work for.

    Cons

    I have found no down side. The only thing that could be considered a con is the job requires travel but that is made quite clear by MTS from the start

    I worked at Mutual Telecom Services as a contractor for more than 5 years

    Pros

    Payment for technical services was prompt and company staff was courteous & professional. Support was adequate when technical help was needed.

    Cons

    In overseas assignments, it was difficult to get even the smallest items needed. Manager was slow in response to critical needs creating unnecessary delays & problems in providing reliable O&M support.

    Check with the personnel out in the field once in a while to see if needs are being met

    I have been working at Mutual Telecom Services full-time for more than a year

    Pros

    Things changed constantly while I worked for them in the Middle East but they always supported me. They stood by their word and training was mandatory since I was required to stay 8570 compliant as a DoD contractor with an active secret clearance. I reported directly to the Army in Kuwait and Iraq.

    Cons

    Mainly cultural differences between Americans and Muslims. I grew personally and saw a part of the world few ever see. Bonuses were excellent.

    I always spoke what was on my mind be it to my manager or my VP to help things run smoother in a very fast paced challenging part of the world to work

    Alot of free time between projects, since MTS is now Blackbox, they are on the decline...

    Cons

    no chance of advancement....senior management has been there 10+ years and no one is leaving.

    Learn, grow and be proactive not reactive to the marketplace.

    Pros

    Great Work. Always utilizing the latest and greatest technology. Very Customer oriented. Operations Center located in a very laid back rural environment.

    Cons

    Below market wages. No training available for employees to keep abreast of technology. Management leaves a lot to be desired.

    Management should consider enhancing employee relationships, recognizing employee performance (more than just negative). Provide training opportunities, especially for management and engineering staff.
