    Pros

Office location in Beverly Hills, that's it.

    Cons

Their HR is not Myspace but Specific Media (parent company), which is embarrassingly unprofessional. They don't know the difference between job roles.

    Pros

    its a check, free food

    Cons

no vision, cost cutting at every corner. Management does not care about employees, and only watch out for themselves. Will publicly embarrass teams in front of the entire company. No budget to be competitive. Unless you are desperate for a paycheck avoid at all costs this is a sinking ship

I have been working at MySpace

    Pros

Pay is pretty good and I like most of the people I work with directly but besides that its hard to think of too much else...

    Cons

    - Management is horrifyingly bad and is 1 clown short of a circus
    - Working on the weekends and extra hours are expected (working throughout the night is not unheard of)
    - Politics are 80% of the job
    - Myspace is trying to be a colorful creative destination but the work environment and the way employees are treated is anything but that
    - Big layoffs are looming and will hit early next year
    - Prospects for the company's success are pretty much 0 (the trajectory of decline is scary)
    - Newscorp is incredibly cheap on equipment - engineers cant even get modern computers

I would highly recommend staying away - if you get offered a nice salary, being there really is not worth it

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

The incompetence of management and Newscorp are to blame for the downfall of this place and everyone knows there is no getting out of this tailspin - its done.

I have been working at MySpace

    Pros

They pay well at least until the next round of layoffs. Corporate bureaucracy is so messed up that you probably won't have to work very hard unless you just want to so you will have plenty of time to work on personal projects or look for a new job.

    Cons

Very dysfunctional environment, it is hard to get anything done. Deployments are painful. News Corporation is a very paranoid organization so be prepared to be treated as untrustworthy by the corporate bureaucracy (although not by Myspace management specifically).
