    Pros

    Good salary for the area, reasonable expectations, excellent benefits (health, pharmaceutical, bonus/profit-sharing structure), stable work level, company is growing and building greater opportunity all over the world.

    Cons

    Nepotism is rampant throughout the company - friend/colleagues are promoted much more easily than others; largely conservative, narrow-minded workforce; Stability of workforce more important to management than talent of workforce; vocally dissatisfied workforce, meaning that the old-timers, who were here before the company went global, complain about the loss of benefits that cost the company money, but were important to keeping things running smoothly when the company relied on the local workforce only.

    Advice to Management

    Institute stock buying plan available to employees at all levels, not just management. This will result in greater satisfaction with money-saving or profit-growth measures that the company enacts.

    Pros

    Great Health Care Insurance. Good 401k Profit Sharing.

    Cons

    Too many clicks. Executive management in Canonsburg, PA allows unqualified people to run their operation in Morgantown. No real direction. Unusually large amount of immoral and unprofessional activity goes on under the surface, but they act like they're all Sunday School teachers.

    Advice to Management

    Call up former supervisors you have allowed your "desperate" managers and directors to let go or who have just quit. You would be surprised what injustices they may point out to you. Meet with you lower level management, who are hanging on by a thread. Help them to help you. It's not what your doing wrong at this site, it's the hands in which you are placing your trust!

    Pros

    Benefits are pretty good. Pay is okay.

    Cons

    High amount of stress. Work way more than 40 hours a week without extra pay. Expect to work 9-10 hour days. And be on call if needed on weekends.

    Advice to Management

    Employees would be happier and more willing to work harder if was being paid for the long hours.

    I worked at Mylan Pharmaceuticals as a contractor (Less than a year)

    Pros

    The cost accounting department had a couple of tremendeous supervisors/managers that made the experience worth it. Pay was reasonable and there was plenty of opportunity for over time to make up for the temp nature of the opening.

    Cons

    Human resources department took 6 months to post an opening that existed for 9 and in the end cost me an opportunity to stay on with the company. I accepted an offer elsewhere.

    Pros

    The pay is decent. The health benefits are some of the best around.

    Cons

    If you are looking for growth opportunities, this company is not the place to be. The motto of the company on the production side is "it's not about what you know, but who you know". Morale is at an all time low, and there are a lot of unhappy employees.

    Advice to Management

    Place people in positions that they are qualified. Take advantage of employees who want to do great things for the company. They are a valuable resource that can go over looked.

    Management was not always the most efficient. Performance review process could be frustrating at times.

    Please make performance review more reflective of an employee's contributions.
