    Pros

    Friendly atmosphere. Like a family.

    Cons

It's very challenging to get ahead if you rub mgt the wrong way.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Management should promote from within which will assist in keeping recruiting costs down. The President of the company should let his VPs, Directors, and Managers actually do their job. That's why they are hired in the first place.

    Pros

Generally, the team and management are solid. Driven to accomplish the mission. Want to do a good job.

    Cons

Company if family owned and CEO creates a very toxic environment. Drives the team to advance his agenda and ideas but will blame them if the ideas fail (despite their recommendations). Will often put departments in contention further making it difficult to accomplish objectives. Will sacrifice employees (bonuses, layoffs) to further his agenda. Disregards employee loyalty.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

It's a good company and can be great given the team and resources there. Get rid of CEO; put in place outside executive; give board more autonomy

    Doesn't Recommend
    Negative Outlook
    Disapproves of CEO
