I have been working at N Cheng & Company P.C.

    Pros

Great experience as you have to work with multiple clients in diverse environments. Great company in term of benefits and people. Almost all of the people at N. Cheng work smart. I consider myself above average who work very efficient and yet, I have learn so much from my co-workers how to work smart most effectively and efficiently. It's a plus to work with great people.

    Cons

Working hours are bad. Your clients may ask you to do things which are not on the engagement. The worst thing is that your supervisor neglects it and wants to please the clients. The pay is not great at all.

I worked at N Cheng & Company P.C. as an intern (less than a year)

    Pros

The company culture is ultra polite and kind. Very nice people work there. HR was a pleasure to work with.

    Cons

Sometimes you have to commute to difficult areas such as Staten Island to go to clients.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

More space at the workplace in Staten Island would be an improvement, as well as using higher quality software than Fund EZ.

I have been working at N Cheng & Company P.C.

    Pros

Reasonable work hours, approximately 40-50 hours a week for a full time position. You get to see how the clients operate overall.

    Cons

Very low compensation for the amount of work that have to be done, and in comparison to other CPA firms.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Only a handful of CPAs work there, which is very surprising for a CPA firm. Management do not encourage employees to get their CPA and do not pay or reimburse for the CPA related expenses.
